Murder Board; Last day before the presentations
In English class today, we got into groups of 3~5 and gave each other constructive criticism. Mr. Paterson explained to us how it’s helpful. By pointing out the flaws in others’ presentation and giving them advice, you are helping them improve. This is called the Murder Board. Shortly after we learned about it, we separated into groups (which we struggled to do at first due to our inability to be flexible haha). Then, each person presented their book review and got feedback from the rest of the Murder Board. The listener’s job was to point out as many mistakes as possible. Whether it was their body language or something to do with the actual slideshows, we had to tell them. So, what did I learn from this experience? From listening to someone else’s presentation and critiquing them, I was not only able to come up with advice for my teammates, I was also able to reflect on my own and really think hard about how the same could be applied for my project.
